وَلَا تُجَادِلْ عَنِ الَّذِيْنَ يَخْتَانُوْنَ اَنْفُسَهُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَنْ كَانَ خَوَّانًا اَثِيْمًاۙ ( النساء: ١٠٧ )

(the one) who
quiconque

كَانَ

khawwānan
خَوَّانًا
treacherous
très trompeur,
athīman
أَثِيمًا
(and) sinful
très pécheur.
Wa laa tujaadil 'anil lazeena yakhtaanoona anfusahum; innal laaha laa yuhibbuman kaana khawwaanan aseemaa (an-Nisāʾ 4:107)
English Sahih:
And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah loves not one who is a habitually sinful deceiver. (An-Nisa [4] : 107)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Et ne dispute pas en faveur de ceux qui se trahissent eux-mêmes. Allah, vraiment, n'aime pas le traître et le pécheur. (An-Nisa' [4] : 107)
