لَيْسَ عَلَى الْاَعْمٰى حَرَجٌ وَّلَا عَلَى الْاَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَّلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيْضِ حَرَجٌ ۗ وَمَنْ يُّطِعِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ ۚ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّ يُعَذِّبْهُ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا ࣖ ( الفتح: ١٧ )
Laisa 'alal a'maa harajunw wa laa 'alal a'raji harajunw wa laa 'alal mareedi haraj' wa many yutil'il laaha wa Rasoolahoo yudkhilhu jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru wa many yatawalla yu'azzibhu 'azaaban aleemaa (al-Fatḥ 48:17)
English Sahih:
There is not upon the blind any guilt or upon the lame any guilt or upon the ill any guilt [for remaining behind]. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger – He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow; but whoever turns away – He will punish him with a painful punishment. (Al-Fath [48] : 17)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Nul grief n'est à faire à l'aveugle, ni au boiteux ni au malade. Et quiconque obéit à Allah et à Son messager, Il le fera entrer dans des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux. Quiconque cependant se détourne, Il le châtiera d'un douloureux châtiment. (Al-Fath [48] : 17)

Il n’est pas reproché à celui qui est excusé pour sa cécité, sa claudication ou sa maladie d’être resté en retrait du combat pour la cause d’Allah. Quiconque obéit à Allah et obéit à Son Messager, Allah le fera entrer dans des vergers où les rivières coulent sous les palais et les arbres, tandis que celui qui refuse de Leur obéir sera douloureusement châtié par Allah.
