وَاَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ اَهْوَاۤءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ اَنْ يَّفْتِنُوْكَ عَنْۢ بَعْضِ مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ اِلَيْكَۗ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ اَنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ اَنْ يُّصِيْبَهُمْ بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوْبِهِمْ ۗوَاِنَّ كَثِيْرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفٰسِقُوْنَ ( المائدة: ٤٩ )
Wa anih kum bainahum bimaaa anzalal laahu wa laa tattabi' ahwaaa'ahum wahzarhum ai yaftinooka 'am ba'di maaa anzalal laahu ilaika fa in tawallaw fa'lam annamaa yureedul laahu ai yuseebahum biba'di zunoobihim; wa inna kaseeram minan naasi lafaasiqoon (al-Māʾidah 5:49)
English Sahih:
And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away – then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 49)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Juge alors parmi eux d'après ce qu'Allah a fait descendre. Ne suis pas leurs passions, et prends garde qu'ils ne tentent de t'éloigner d'une partie de ce qu'Allah t'a révélé. Et puis, s'ils refusent (le jugement révélé) sache qu'Allah veut les affliger [ici-bas] pour une partie de leurs péchés. Beaucoup de gens, certes, sont des pervers. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 49)

Ô Messager, juge entre eux selon ce que t’a révélé Allah, ne suis pas leurs avis qui sont l’expression de leurs passions et prends garde à ce qu’ils ne te détournent pas d’une partie de ce qu’Allah t’a révélé car ils ne s’épargneront aucun effort pour atteindre ce but. S’ils refusent d’accepter ton jugement selon ce qu’Allah a révélé, sache qu’Allah ne veut que les punir dans ce monde pour certains de leurs péchés et Il les punira dans l’au-delà pour la totalité.
Il y a assurément beaucoup de gens qui s’abstiennent délibérément d’obéir à Allah.
