فَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ الْمَشَارِقِ وَالْمَغٰرِبِ اِنَّا لَقٰدِرُوْنَۙ ( المعارج: ٤٠ )
falā
فَلَآ
But nay!
Donc non !
uq'simu
أُقْسِمُ
I swear
Je jure
birabbi
بِرَبِّ
by (the) Lord
par (Le) Maître
l-mashāriqi
ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ
(of) the rising
(des) points de lever du soleil
wal-maghāribi
وَٱلْمَغَٰرِبِ
and the settings
Et (des) points de coucher du soleil !
innā
إِنَّا
that We
Certes, Nous (sommes)
laqādirūna
لَقَٰدِرُونَ
(are) surely Able
certainement capables
Falaaa uqsimu bi Rabbil mashaariqi wal maghaaribi innaa laqaadiroon (al-Maʿārij 70:40)
English Sahih:
So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able (Al-Ma'arij [70] : 40)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Eh Non!... Je jure par le Seigneur des Levants et des Couchants que Nous sommes Capable (Al-Ma'arij [70] : 40)
