وَلَقَدْ جَاۤءَهُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظٰلِمُوْنَ ( النحل: ١١٣ )
And certainly
وَلَقَدْ
और अलबत्ता तहक़ीक़
came to them
جَآءَهُمْ
आया उनके पास
a Messenger
رَسُولٌ
एक रसूल
from among them
مِّنْهُمْ
उनमें से
but they denied him;
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
तो उन्होंने झुठलाया उसे
so seized them
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
तो पकड़ लिया उन्हें
the punishment
ٱلْعَذَابُ
अज़ाब ने
while they
وَهُمْ
जबकि वो
(were) wrongdoers
ظَٰلِمُونَ
ज़ालिम थे
Walaqad jaahum rasoolun minhum fakaththaboohu faakhathahumu al'athabu wahum thalimoona (an-Naḥl 16:113)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
उनके पास उन्हीं में से एक रसूल आया। किन्तु उन्होंने उसे झुठला दिया। अन्ततः यातना ने उन्हें इस दशा में आ लिया कि वे अत्याचारी थे
English Sahih:
And there had certainly come to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him; so punishment overtook them while they were wrongdoers. ([16] An-Nahl : 113)
