اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَكْتُمُوْنَ مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الْكِتٰبِ وَيَشْتَرُوْنَ بِهٖ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًاۙ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ مَا يَأْكُلُوْنَ فِيْ بُطُوْنِهِمْ اِلَّا النَّارَ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللّٰهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيْهِمْ ۚوَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ( البقرة: ١٧٤ )
Inna allatheena yaktumoona ma anzala Allahu mina alkitabi wayashtaroona bihi thamanan qaleelan olaika ma yakuloona fee butoonihim illa alnnara wala yukallimuhumu Allahu yawma alqiyamati wala yuzakkeehim walahum 'athabun aleemun (al-Baq̈arah 2:174)

जो लोग उस चीज़ को छिपाते है जो अल्लाह ने अपनी किताब में से उतारी है और उसके बदले थोड़े मूल्य का सौदा करते है, वे तो बस आग खाकर अपने पेट भर रहे है; और क़ियामत के दिन अल्लाह न तो उनसे बात करेगा और न उन्हें निखारेगा; और उनके लिए दुखद यातना है
English Sahih:
Indeed, they who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price – those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 174)

बेशक जो लोग इन बातों को जो ख़ुदा ने किताब में नाज़िल की है छिपाते हैं और उसके बदले थोड़ी सी क़ीमत (दुनयावी नफ़ा) ले लेतें है ये लोग बस अंगारों से अपने पेट भरते हैं और क़यामत के दिन ख़ुदा उन से बात तक तो करेगा नहीं और न उन्हें (गुनाहों से) पाक करेगा और उन्हीं के लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है
