وَقٰتِلُوْهُمْ حَتّٰى لَا تَكُوْنَ فِتْنَةٌ وَّيَكُوْنَ الدِّيْنُ لِلّٰهِ ۗ فَاِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَلَا عُدْوَانَ اِلَّا عَلَى الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ( البقرة: ١٩٣ )
And fight (against) them
وَقَٰتِلُوهُمْ
और लड़ो उनसे
until
حَتَّىٰ
यहाँ तक कि
not
لَا
ना
(there) is
تَكُونَ
रहे
oppression
فِتْنَةٌ
कोई फ़ितना
and becomes
وَيَكُونَ
और हो जाए
the religion
ٱلدِّينُ
दीन
for Allah
لِلَّهِۖ
अल्लाह ही के लिए
Then if
فَإِنِ
फिर अगर
they cease
ٱنتَهَوْا۟
वो बाज़ आ जाऐं
then (let there be) no
فَلَا
तो नहीं
hostility
عُدْوَٰنَ
कोई ज़्यादती
except
إِلَّا
मगर
against
عَلَى
ज़ालिमों पर
the oppressors
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
ज़ालिमों पर
Waqatiloohum hatta la takoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu lillahi faini intahaw fala 'udwana illa 'ala alththalimeena (al-Baq̈arah 2:193)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
तुम उनसे लड़ो यहाँ तक कि फ़ितना शेष न रह जाए और दीन (धर्म) अल्लाह के लिए हो जाए। अतः यदि वे बाज़ आ जाएँ तो अत्याचारियों के अतिरिक्त किसी के विरुद्ध कोई क़दम उठाना ठीक नहीं
English Sahih:
Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] religion [i.e., worship] is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression [i.e., assault] except against the oppressors. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 193)
