يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ اَبْصَارَهُمْ ۗ كُلَّمَآ اَضَاۤءَ لَهُمْ مَّشَوْا فِيْهِ ۙ وَاِذَآ اَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوْا ۗوَلَوْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَاَبْصَارِهِمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ࣖ ( البقرة: ٢٠ )
Yakadu albarqu yakhtafu absarahum kullama adaa lahum mashaw feehi waitha athlama 'alayhim qamoo walaw shaa Allahu lathahaba bisam'ihim waabsarihim inna Allaha 'ala kulli shayin qadeerun (al-Baq̈arah 2:20)

मानो शीघ्र ही बिजली उनकी आँखों की रौशनी उचक लेने को है; जब भी उनपर चमकती हो, वे चल पड़ते हो और जब उनपर अँधेरा छा जाता हैं तो खड़े हो जाते हो; अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो उनकी सुनने और देखने की शक्ति बिलकुल ही छीन लेता। निस्सन्देह अल्लाह को हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
English Sahih:
The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 20)
