قَالُوْٓا اَوَلَمْ تَكُ تَأْتِيْكُمْ رُسُلُكُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ ۗقَالُوْا بَلٰىۗ قَالُوْا فَادْعُوْا ۚوَمَا دُعٰۤؤُا الْكٰفِرِيْنَ اِلَّا فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ ࣖ ( غافر: ٥٠ )
They (will) say
قَالُوٓا۟
वो कहेंगे
"Did there not
أَوَلَمْ
क्या भला नहीं
"Did there not
تَكُ
थे
come to you
تَأْتِيكُمْ
आए तुम्हारे पास
your Messengers
رُسُلُكُم
रसूल तुम्हारे
with clear proofs?"
بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِۖ
साथ वाज़ेह दलाइल के
They (will) say
قَالُوا۟
वो कहेंगे
"Yes"
بَلَىٰۚ
क्यों नहीं
They (will) say
قَالُوا۟
वो कहेंगे
"Then call
فَٱدْعُوا۟ۗ
पस तुम दुआ करो
but not
وَمَا
और नहीं
(is) the call
دُعَٰٓؤُا۟
दुआ
(of) the disbelievers
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
काफ़िरों की
except
إِلَّا
मगर
in
فِى
गुमराही में
error"
ضَلَٰلٍ
गुमराही में
Qaloo awalam taku tateekum rusulukum bialbayyinati qaloo bala qaloo faod'oo wama du'ao alkafireena illa fee dalalin (Ghāfir 40:50)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
वे कहेंगे, 'क्या तुम्हारे पास तुम्हारे रसूल खुले प्रमाण लेकर नहीं आते रहे?' कहेंगे, 'क्यों नहीं!' वे कहेंगे, 'फिर तो तुम्ही पुकारो।' किन्तु इनकार करनेवालों की पुकार तो बस भटककर ही रह जाती है
English Sahih:
They will say, "Did there not come to you your messengers with clear proofs?" They will say, "Yes." They will reply, "Then supplicate [yourselves], but the supplication of the disbelievers is not except in error [i.e., futility]." ([40] Ghafir : 50)
