فَاِذَا جَاۤءَتْهُمُ الْحَسَنَةُ قَالُوْا لَنَا هٰذِهٖ ۚوَاِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَّطَّيَّرُوْا بِمُوْسٰى وَمَنْ مَّعَهٗۗ اَلَآ اِنَّمَا طٰۤىِٕرُهُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ١٣١ )
Faitha jaathumu alhasanatu qaloo lana hathihi wain tusibhum sayyiatun yattayyaroo bimoosa waman ma'ahu ala innama tairuhum 'inda Allahi walakinna aktharahum la ya'lamoona (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:131)

फिर जब उन्हें अच्छी हालत पेश आती है तो कहते है, 'यह तो है ही हमारे लिए।' और उन्हें बुरी हालत पेश आए तो वे उसे मूसा और उसके साथियों की नहूसत (अशकुन) ठहराएँ। सुन लो, उसकी नहूसत तो अल्लाह ही के पास है, परन्तु उनमें से अधिकतर लोग जानते नहीं
English Sahih:
But when good [i.e., provision] came to them, they said, "This is ours [by right]." And if a bad [condition] struck them, they saw an evil omen in Moses and those with him. Unquestionably, their fortune is with Allah, but most of them do not know. ([7] Al-A'raf : 131)
