فَدَلّٰىهُمَا بِغُرُورٍۚ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْاٰتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفٰنِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَّرَقِ الْجَنَّةِۗ وَنَادٰىهُمَا رَبُّهُمَآ اَلَمْ اَنْهَكُمَا عَنْ تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَاَقُلْ لَّكُمَآ اِنَّ الشَّيْطٰنَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيْنٌ ( الأعراف: ٢٢ )
Fadallahuma bighuroorin falamma thaqa alshshajarata badat lahuma sawatuhuma watafiqa yakhsifani 'alayhima min waraqi aljannati wanadahuma rabbuhuma alam anhakuma 'an tilkuma alshshajarati waaqul lakuma inna alshshaytana lakuma 'aduwwun mubeenun (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:22)

इस प्रकार धोखा देकर उसने उन दोनों को झुका लिया। अन्ततः जब उन्होंने उस वृक्ष का स्वाद लिया, तो उनकी शर्मगाहे एक-दूसरे के सामने खुल गए और वे अपने ऊपर बाग़ के पत्ते जोड़-जोड़कर रखने लगे। तब उनके रब ने उन्हें पुकारा, 'क्या मैंने तुम दोनों को इस वृक्ष से रोका नहीं था और तुमसे कहा नहीं था कि शैतान तुम्हारा खुला शत्रु है?'
English Sahih:
So he made them fall, through deception. And when they tasted of the tree, their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten together over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And their Lord called to them, "Did I not forbid you from that tree and tell you that Satan is to you a clear enemy?" ([7] Al-A'raf : 22)

ग़रज़ धोखे से उन दोनों को उस (के खाने) की तरफ ले गया ग़रज़ जो ही उन दोनों ने इस दरख्त (के फल) को चखा कि (बेहश्ती लिबास गिर गया और समझ पैदा हुई) उन पर उनकी शर्मगाहें ज़ाहिर हो गयीं और बेहश्त के पत्ते (तोड़ जोड़ कर) अपने ऊपर ढापने लगे तब उनको परवरदिगार ने उनको आवाज़ दी कि क्यों मैंने तुम दोनों को इस दरख्त के पास (जाने) से मना नहीं किया था और (क्या) ये न जता दिया था कि शैतान तुम्हारा यक़ीनन खुला हुआ दुश्मन है
