وَنَادٰٓى اَصْحٰبُ الْاَعْرَافِ رِجَالًا يَّعْرِفُوْنَهُمْ بِسِيْمٰىهُمْ قَالُوْا مَآ اَغْنٰى عَنْكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ٤٨ )
And (will) call out
وَنَادَىٰٓ
और पुकारेंगे
(the) companions
أَصْحَٰبُ
आराफ़ वाले
(of) the heights
ٱلْأَعْرَافِ
आराफ़ वाले
(to) men
رِجَالًا
कुछ लोगों को
whom they recognize
يَعْرِفُونَهُم
वो पहचानते होंगे उन्हें
by their marks
بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ
उनकी अलामत से
saying
قَالُوا۟
वो कहेंगे
"Not
مَآ
ना
(has) availed
أَغْنَىٰ
काम आई
[to] you
عَنكُمْ
तुम्हें
your gathering
جَمْعُكُمْ
जमाअत तुम्हारी
and what
وَمَا
और जो कुछ
you were
كُنتُمْ
थे तुम
arrogant (about)"
تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
तुम तकब्बुर करते
Wanada ashabu ala'rafi rijalan ya'rifoonahum biseemahum qaloo ma aghna 'ankum jam'ukum wama kuntum tastakbiroona (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:48)

और ये ऊँचाइयोंवाले कुछ ऐसे लोगों से, जिन्हें ये उनके लक्षणों से पहचानते हैं, कहेंगे, 'तुम्हारे जत्थे तो तुम्हारे कुछ काम न आए और न तुम्हारा अकड़ते रहना ही।
English Sahih:
And the companions of the Elevations will call to men [within Hell] whom they recognize by their mark, saying, "Of no avail to you was your gathering and [the fact] that you were arrogant." ([7] Al-A'raf : 48)
