اَفَاَمِنَ اَهْلُ الْقُرٰٓى اَنْ يَّأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا وَّهُمْ نَاۤىِٕمُوْنَۗ ( الأعراف: ٩٧ )
Then did feel secure
أَفَأَمِنَ
क्या भला बेख़ौफ़ हो गए
(the) people
أَهْلُ
बस्तियों वाले
(of) the cities
ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ
बस्तियों वाले
that
أَن
कि
comes to them
يَأْتِيَهُم
आ जाए उन पर
Our punishment
بَأْسُنَا
अज़ाब हमारा
(at) night
بَيَٰتًا
रात को
while they
وَهُمْ
और वो
(were) asleep?
نَآئِمُونَ
सो रहे हों
Afaamina ahlu alqura an yatiyahum basuna bayatan wahum naimoona (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:97)

फिर क्या बस्तियों के लोगों को इस और से निश्चिन्त रहने का अवसर मिल सका कि रात में उनपर हमारी यातना आ जाए, जबकि वे सोए हुए हो?
English Sahih:
Then, did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them at night while they were asleep? ([7] Al-A'raf : 97)
