وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَاَنْتَ فِيْهِمْۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَ ( الأنفال: ٣٣ )
But not
وَمَا
और नहीं
is
كَانَ
है
(for) Allah
ٱللَّهُ
अल्लाह
that He punishes them
لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ
कि वो अज़ाब दे उन्हें
while you
وَأَنتَ
जबकि आप
(are) among them
فِيهِمْۚ
उनमें (मौजूद हों)
and not
وَمَا
और नहीं
is
كَانَ
है
Allah
ٱللَّهُ
अल्लाह
the One Who punishes them
مُعَذِّبَهُمْ
अज़ाब देने वाला है उन्हें
while they
وَهُمْ
जबकि वो
seek forgiveness
يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
वो इस्तग़फ़ार कर रहे हों
Wama kana Allahu liyu'aththibahum waanta feehim wama kana Allahu mu'aththibahum wahum yastaghfiroona (al-ʾAnfāl 8:33)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
और अल्लाह ऐसा नहीं कि तुम उनके बीच उपस्थित हो और वह उन्हें यातना देने लग जाए, और न अल्लाह ऐसा है कि वे क्षमा-याचना कर रहे हो और वह उन्हें यातना से ग्रस्त कर दे
English Sahih:
But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness. ([8] Al-Anfal : 33)
