وَاِذْ قَالُوا اللهم اِنْ كَانَ هٰذَا هُوَ الْحَقَّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَاَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ اَوِ ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ ( الأنفال: ٣٢ )
And when
وَإِذْ
और जब
they said
قَالُوا۟
उन्होंने कहा
"O Allah!
ٱللَّهُمَّ
ऐ अल्लाह
If
إِن
अगर
was
كَانَ
है
this
هَٰذَا
ये
[it]
هُوَ
वो ही
the truth
ٱلْحَقَّ
जो हक़ है
[of]
مِنْ
तेरे पास से
from You
عِندِكَ
तेरे पास से
then (send) rain
فَأَمْطِرْ
तो बरसा
upon us
عَلَيْنَا
हम पर
(of) stones
حِجَارَةً
पत्थर
from
مِّنَ
आसमान से
the sky
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
आसमान से
or
أَوِ
या
bring (upon) us
ٱئْتِنَا
ले आ हम पर
a punishment
بِعَذَابٍ
अज़ाब
painful"
أَلِيمٍ
दर्दनाक
Waith qaloo allahumma in kana hatha huwa alhaqqa min 'indika faamtir 'alayna hijaratan mina alssamai awi itina bi'athabin aleemin (al-ʾAnfāl 8:32)

और याद करो जब उन्होंने कहा, 'ऐ अल्लाह! यदि यही तेरे यहाँ से सत्य हो तो हमपर आकाश से पत्थर बरसा दे, या हम पर कोई दुखद यातना ही ले आ
English Sahih:
And [remember] when they said, "O Allah, if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment." ([8] Al-Anfal : 32)
