وَاِذْ قَالُوا اللهم اِنْ كَانَ هٰذَا هُوَ الْحَقَّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَاَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ اَوِ ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ  ( الأنفال: ٣٢ )

وَإِذْ
And when
qālū
قَالُوا۟
they said
l-lahuma
ٱللَّهُمَّ
"O Allah!

هَٰذَا
this

هُوَ

l-ḥaqa
ٱلْحَقَّ
the truth
min
مِنْ
[of]
ʿindika
عِندِكَ
from You
fa-amṭir
فَأَمْطِرْ
then (send) rain
ʿalaynā
عَلَيْنَا
upon us
ḥijāratan
حِجَارَةً
(of) stones
mina
مِّنَ
from
l-samāi
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky
awi
أَوِ
or
i'tinā
ٱئْتِنَا
bring (upon) us
biʿadhābin
بِعَذَابٍ
a punishment
alīmin
أَلِيمٍ
painful"

Wa iz qaalul laahumma in kaana haazaa huwal haqqa min 'indika fa amtir 'alainaa hijaaratam minas samaaa'i awi'tinaa bi 'azaabin alaeem (al-ʾAnfāl 8:32)

Sahih International:

And [remember] when they said, "O Allah, if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment." (Al-Anfal [8] : 32)

And (recall) when they said, “O Allah, if this is indeed the truth (revealed) from You, then, rain down stones upon us from the heavens, or bring upon us a painful punishment.”
