ARBNDEENIDTRUR
bismillah

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ
They ask you
عَنِ
about
ٱلْأَنفَالِۖ
the spoils of war.
قُلِ
Say,
ٱلْأَنفَالُ
"The spoils of war
لِلَّهِ
(are) for Allah
وَٱلرَّسُولِۖ
and the Messenger.
فَٱتَّقُوا۟
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
وَأَصْلِحُوا۟
and set right
ذَاتَ
that
بَيْنِكُمْۖ
(which is) between you
وَأَطِيعُوا۟
and obey
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ
and His Messenger,
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you are
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
believers."

Yas'aloonaka 'anil anfaali qulil anfaalu lillaahi war Rasooli fattaqul laaha wa ahlihoo zaata bainikum wa atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahooo in kuntum mu'mineen

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the bounties [of war]. Say, "The [decision concerning] bounties is for Allah and the Messenger." So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers.

Tafsir

إِنَّمَا
Only
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
the believers
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) those who
إِذَا
when
ذُكِرَ
is mentioned
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَجِلَتْ
feel fear
قُلُوبُهُمْ
their hearts,
وَإِذَا
and when
تُلِيَتْ
are recited
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them
ءَايَٰتُهُۥ
His Verses,
زَادَتْهُمْ
they increase them
إِيمَٰنًا
(in) faith,
وَعَلَىٰ
and upon
رَبِّهِمْ
their Lord
يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
they put their trust.

Innamal mu'minoonal lazeena izaa zukiral laahu wajilat quloobuhum wa izaa tuliyat 'alaihim Aayaatuhoo zaadat hum eemaananw wa 'alaa Rabbihim yatawakkaloon

The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely -

Tafsir

ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يُقِيمُونَ
establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
the prayer
وَمِمَّا
and out of what
رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ
We have provided them
يُنفِقُونَ
they spend.

Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon

The ones who establish prayer, and from what We have provided them, they spend.

Tafsir

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those -
هُمُ
they are
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
the believers
حَقًّاۚ
(in) truth.
لَّهُمْ
For them
دَرَجَٰتٌ
(are) ranks
عِندَ
with
رَبِّهِمْ
their Lord
وَمَغْفِرَةٌ
and forgiveness
وَرِزْقٌ
and a provision
كَرِيمٌ
noble.

Ulaaa'ika humul mu'minoona haqqaa; lahum darajaatun 'inda Rabbihim wa magh firatunw wa rizqun kareem

Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision.

Tafsir

كَمَآ
As
أَخْرَجَكَ
brought you out
رَبُّكَ
your Lord
مِنۢ
from
بَيْتِكَ
your home
بِٱلْحَقِّ
in truth,
وَإِنَّ
while indeed,
فَرِيقًا
a party
مِّنَ
among
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
the believers
لَكَٰرِهُونَ
certainly disliked.

Kaamaaa akhrajaka Rabbuka mim baitika bilhaqq; wa inna fareeqam minal mu'mineena lakaarihoon

[It is] just as when your Lord brought you out of your home [for the battle of Badr] in truth, while indeed, a party among the believers were unwilling,

Tafsir

يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ
They dispute with you
فِى
concerning
ٱلْحَقِّ
the truth
بَعْدَمَا
after what
تَبَيَّنَ
was made clear,
كَأَنَّمَا
as if
يُسَاقُونَ
they were driven
إِلَى
to
ٱلْمَوْتِ
[the] death
وَهُمْ
while they
يَنظُرُونَ
(were) looking.

Yujaadiloonaka fil haqqi ba'da maa tabaiyana kaannamaa yasaaqoona ilal mawti wa hum uanzuroon

Arguing with you concerning the truth after it had become clear, as if they were being driven toward death while they were looking on.

Tafsir

وَإِذْ
And when
يَعِدُكُمُ
promised you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
إِحْدَى
one
ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ
(of) the two groups -
أَنَّهَا
that it (would be)
لَكُمْ
for you -
وَتَوَدُّونَ
and you wished
أَنَّ
that
غَيْرَ
(one) other than
ذَاتِ
that
ٱلشَّوْكَةِ
(of) the armed
تَكُونُ
would be
لَكُمْ
for you .
وَيُرِيدُ
But intended
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
أَن
to
يُحِقَّ
justify
ٱلْحَقَّ
the truth
بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ
by His words,
وَيَقْطَعَ
and cut off
دَابِرَ
(the) roots
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
(of) the disbelievers

[Remember, O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups - that it would be yours - and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers

Tafsir

لِيُحِقَّ
That He might justify
ٱلْحَقَّ
the truth
وَيُبْطِلَ
and prove false
ٱلْبَٰطِلَ
the falsehood,
وَلَوْ
even if
كَرِهَ
disliked (it)
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
the criminals.

Liyuhiqqal haqqa wa tubtilal baatila wa law karihal mujrimoon

That He should establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it.

Tafsir

إِذْ
When
تَسْتَغِيثُونَ
you were seeking help
رَبَّكُمْ
(of) your Lord
فَٱسْتَجَابَ
and He answered
لَكُمْ
[to] you,
أَنِّى
"Indeed, I am
مُمِدُّكُم
going to reinforce you
بِأَلْفٍ
with a thousand
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
the Angels
مُرْدِفِينَ
one after another."

Iz tastagheesoona Rabbakum fastajaaba lakum annee mumiddukum bi alfim minal malaaa'ikati murdifeen

[Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, "Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another."

Tafsir

وَمَا
And not
جَعَلَهُ
(it was) made
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
إِلَّا
but
بُشْرَىٰ
good tidings
وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ
and so that might be at rest
بِهِۦ
with it
قُلُوبُكُمْۚ
your hearts.
وَمَا
And not
ٱلنَّصْرُ
[the] victory
إِلَّا
but
مِنْ
from
عِندِ
[of]
ٱللَّهِۚ
Allah.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
(is) All-Mighty,
حَكِيمٌ
All-Wise.

Wa maa ja'alahul laahu illaa bushraa wa litatma'inna bihee quloobukum; wa man nasru illaa min 'indil laah; innal laaha Azeezun Hakeem

And Allah made it not but good tidings and so that your hearts would be assured thereby. And victory is not but from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
