اِذْ يُرِيْكَهُمُ اللّٰهُ فِيْ مَنَامِكَ قَلِيْلًاۗ وَلَوْ اَرٰىكَهُمْ كَثِيْرًا لَّفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِى الْاَمْرِ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَلَّمَۗ اِنَّهٗ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ( الأنفال: ٤٣ )
Ith yureekahumu Allahu fee manamika qaleelan walaw arakahum katheeran lafashiltum walatanaza'tum fee alamri walakinna Allaha sallama innahu 'aleemun bithati alssudoori (al-ʾAnfāl 8:43)

और याद करो जब अल्लाह उनको तुम्हारे स्वप्न में थोड़ा करके तुम्हें दिखा रहा था और यदि वह उन्हें ज़्यादा करके तुम्हें दिखा देता तो अवश्य ही तुम हिम्मत हार बैठते और असल मामले में झगड़ने लग जाते, किन्तु अल्लाह ने इससे बचा लिया। निश्चय ही वह तो जो कुछ दिलों में होता है उसे भी जानता है
English Sahih:
[Remember, O Muhammad], when Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but Allah saved [you from that]. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. ([8] Al-Anfal : 43)

(ये वह वक्त था) जब ख़ुदा ने तुम्हें ख्वाब में कुफ्फ़ार को कम करके दिखलाया था और अगर उनको तुम्हें ज्यादा करते दिखलाता तुम यक़ीनन हिम्मत हार देते और लड़ाई के बारे में झगड़ने लगते मगर ख़ुदा ने इसे (बदनामी) से बचाया इसमें तो शक़ ही नहीं कि वह दिली ख्यालात से वाक़िफ़ है
