اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ افۡتَـرٰٮهُ ؕ قُلۡ فَاۡتُوۡا بِسُوۡرَةٍ مِّثۡلِهٖ وَادۡعُوۡا مَنِ اسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ(يونس :38)
Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fatoo bisooratin mithlihi waod'oo mani istata'tum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena
Sahih International:
Or do they say [about the Prophet], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a surah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."
اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ افۡتَـرٰٮهُ ؕ قُلۡ فَاۡتُوۡا بِعَشۡرِ سُوَرٍ مِّثۡلِهٖ مُفۡتَرَيٰتٍ وَّ ادۡعُوۡا مَنِ اسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ(هود :13)
Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fatoo bi'ashri suwarin mithlihi muftarayatin waod'oo mani istata'tum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena
Sahih International:
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."
وَيَقُوۡلُ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَتۡ سُوۡرَةٌ ۚ فَاِذَاۤ اُنۡزِلَتۡ سُوۡرَةٌ مُّحۡكَمَةٌ وَّذُكِرَ فِيۡهَا الۡقِتَالُۙ رَاَيۡتَ الَّذِيۡنَ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ مَّرَضٌ يَّنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَيۡكَ نَظَرَ الۡمَغۡشِىِّ عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ الۡمَوۡتِؕ فَاَوۡلٰى لَهُمۡۚ(محمد :20)
Wayaqoolu allatheena amanoo lawla nuzzilat sooratun faitha onzilat sooratun muhkamatun wathukira feeha alqitalu raayta allatheena fee quloobihim maradun yanthuroona ilayka nathara almaghshiyyi 'alayhi mina almawti faawla lahum
Sahih International:
Those who believe say, "Why has a surah not been sent down? But when a precise surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death. And more appropriate for them [would have been]
