الۤرٰ ۗ كِتٰبٌ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ اِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِ ەۙ بِاِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ اِلٰى صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَمِيْدِۙ ( ابراهيم: ١ )
Alif-Laaam-Raa; Kitaabun anzalnaahu ilaika litukhrijan-naasa minaz zulumaati ilan noori bi-izni Rabbihim ilaa siraatil 'Azeezil Hameed (ʾIbrāhīm 14:1)
English Sahih:
Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord – to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy – (Ibrahim [14] : 1)

അലിഫ് - ലാം - റാഅ്. ഇത് നാം നിനക്കിറക്കിയ വേദപുസ്തകമാണ്. ജനങ്ങളെ അവരുടെ നാഥന്റെ അനുമതിയോടെ ഇരുളില്നിന്ന് വെളിച്ചത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കാന്. പ്രതാപിയും സ്തുത്യര്ഹനുമായവന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തിലേക്ക്. (ഇബ്റാഹീം [14] : 1)

അലിഫ് ലാം റാ. മനുഷ്യരെ അവന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ അനുമതി പ്രകാരം ഇരുട്ടുകളില് നിന്ന് വെളിച്ചത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുവാന് വേണ്ടി നിനക്ക് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള ഗ്രന്ഥമാണിത്. അതായത്, പ്രതാപിയും സ്തുത്യര്ഹനും ആയിട്ടുള്ളവന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തിലേക്ക്.
