وَيَجْعَلُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ الْبَنٰتِ سُبْحٰنَهٗۙ وَلَهُمْ مَّا يَشْتَهُوْنَ ( النحل: ٥٧ )
wayajʿalūna
وَيَجْعَلُونَ
And they assign
അവര് ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു
lillahi
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്നു
l-banāti
ٱلْبَنَٰتِ
daughters
പെണ്മക്കളെ
sub'ḥānahu
سُبْحَٰنَهُۥۙ
Glory be to Him!
അവന് മഹാ പരിശുദ്ധന് (അവനെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു)
walahum
وَلَهُم
And for them
അവര്ക്കാകട്ടെ, അവര്ക്കോ
mā yashtahūna
مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
(is) what they desire
അവര് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതിനെയും
Wa yaj'aloona lillaahil banaati Subhaanahoo wa lahum maa yashtahoon (an-Naḥl 16:57)
English Sahih:
And they attribute to Allah daughters – exalted is He – and for them is what they desire [i.e., sons]. (An-Nahl [16] : 57)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവിന് പെണ്മക്കളുണ്ടെന്ന് അവര് ആരോപിക്കുന്നു- അവന് എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്! അവര്ക്കോ അവര് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നതും. (അന്നഹ്ല് [16] : 57)
