يَعْرِفُوْنَ نِعْمَتَ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ يُنْكِرُوْنَهَا وَاَكْثَرُهُمُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ࣖ ( النحل: ٨٣ )
yaʿrifūna
يَعْرِفُونَ
They recognize
അവര്‍ അറിയുന്നു
niʿ'mata l-lahi
نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ
(the) Favor (of) Allah;
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തെ
thumma
ثُمَّ
then
പിന്നെ (എന്നിട്ടും)
yunkirūnahā
يُنكِرُونَهَا
they deny it
അവരതിനെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നു
wa-aktharuhumu
وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ
And most of them
അവരില്‍ അധികം (ആളുകള്‍)
l-kāfirūna
ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
(are) the disbelievers
അവിശ്വാസികളത്രെ, നന്ദികെട്ടവരാണ്
Ya'rifoona ni'matal laahi summa yunkiroonahaa wa aksaruhumul kaafiroon (an-Naḥl 16:83)
English Sahih:
They recognize the favor of Allah; then they deny it. And most of them are disbelievers. (An-Nahl [16] : 83)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അളവറ്റ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങള്‍ അവരറിയുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ടും അവരതിനെ തള്ളിപ്പറയുകയാണ്. അവരിലേറെപ്പേരും നന്ദികെട്ടവരാണ്. (അന്നഹ്ല്‍ [16] : 83)

അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം അവര്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് അതിനെ നിഷേധിക്കുകയുമാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌. അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും നന്ദികെട്ടവരാകുന്നു.[1]
[1] കാഫിര്‍ എന്ന പദത്തിന് ഇസ്‌ലാം സ്വീകരിക്കാത്ത സത്യനിഷേധി എന്നും, നന്ദികെട്ടവന്‍ എന്നും അര്‍ത്ഥമുണ്ട്.
