قُلْ لَّوْ اَنْتُمْ تَمْلِكُوْنَ خَزَاۤىِٕنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّيْٓ اِذًا لَّاَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الْاِنْفَاقِۗ وَكَانَ الْاِنْسَانُ قَتُوْرًا ࣖ ( الإسراء: ١٠٠ )

لَّوْ أَنتُمْ

നിങ്ങള്‍ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍
tamlikūna
تَمْلِكُونَ
possess
നിങ്ങള്‍ ഉടമയാക്കിയിരുന്നു, അധീനമാക്കിയിരുന്നു (വെങ്കില്‍)
khazāina
خَزَآئِنَ
the treasures
ഖജനാക്കളെ, നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളെ, ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളെ
raḥmati
رَحْمَةِ
(of) the Mercy
കാരുണ്യ (അനുഗ്രഹ) ത്തിന്റെ
rabbī
رَبِّىٓ
(of) my Lord
എന്റെ റബ്ബിന്റെ
idhan
إِذًا
then
എന്നാല്‍, അന്നേരം
la-amsaktum
لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ
surely you would withhold
നിങ്ങള്‍ പിടിച്ചുവെക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും
khashyata
خَشْيَةَ
(out of) fear
ഭയന്നിട്ട്, ഭയത്താല്‍
l-infāqi
ٱلْإِنفَاقِۚ
(of) spending"
ചിലവഴിക്കല്‍, ചിലവാക്കുന്നതിനെ
wakāna
وَكَانَ
And is
ആകുന്നു
l-insānu
ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
man
മനുഷ്യന്‍
qatūran
قَتُورًا
stingy
(വളരെ) പിശുക്കന്‍, ഇറുക്കിപ്പിടിക്കുന്നവന്‍
Qul law antum tamlikoona khazaaa'ina rahmati Rabbeee izal la amsaktum khash yatal infaaq; wa kaanal insaanu qatooraa (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:100)
English Sahih:
Say [to them], "If you possessed the depositories of the mercy of my Lord, then you would withhold out of fear of spending." And ever has man been stingy. (Al-Isra [17] : 100)

പറയുക: എന്റെ നാഥന്റെ കാരുണ്യത്തിന്റെ ഖജനാവുകള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ അധീനതയിലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ ചെലവഴിച്ചു തീര്‍ന്നുപോകുമോയെന്ന് പേടിച്ച് നിങ്ങളത് മുറുക്കിപ്പിടിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. മനുഷ്യന്‍ പറ്റെ പിശുക്കന്‍ തന്നെ. (അല്‍ഇസ്റാഅ് [17] : 100)
