وَاَمَّا الْغُلٰمُ فَكَانَ اَبَوَاهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ فَخَشِيْنَآ اَنْ يُّرْهِقَهُمَا طُغْيَانًا وَّكُفْرًا ۚ ( الكهف: ٨٠ )
wa-ammā l-ghulāmu
وَأَمَّا ٱلْغُلَٰمُ
And as for the boy
എന്നാല് ബാലനാകട്ടെ
fakāna
فَكَانَ
his parents were
ആയിരുന്നു
abawāhu
أَبَوَاهُ
his parents were
അവന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കള്
mu'minayni
مُؤْمِنَيْنِ
believers
രണ്ടു സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്
fakhashīnā
فَخَشِينَآ
and we feared
അപ്പോള് നാം ഭയപ്പെട്ടു
an yur'hiqahumā
أَن يُرْهِقَهُمَا
that he would overburden them
അവരെ അവന് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിക്കുമെന്ന്
ṭugh'yānan
طُغْيَٰنًا
(by) transgression
അതിക്രമത്തിനു, അതിരുവിടുന്നതിനു
wakuf'ran
وَكُفْرًا
and disbelief
അവിശ്വാസത്തിനും
Wa aammal ghulaamu fakaana abawaahu mu'minaini fakhasheenaaa any yurhiqa humaa tughyaananw wa kufraa (al-Kahf 18:80)
English Sahih:
And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. (Al-Kahf [18] : 80)

''ആ ബാലന്റെ കാര്യമിതാണ്: അവന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കള് സത്യവിശ്വാസികളായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് ബാലന് അവരെ അതിക്രമത്തിനും സത്യനിഷേധത്തിനും നിര്ബന്ധിതരാക്കുമെന്ന് നാം ഭയപ്പെട്ടു. (അല്കഹ്ഫ് [18] : 80)
