قَالُوْا سُبْحٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ اِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا ۗاِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْمُ ( البقرة: ٣٢ )

قَالُوا۟
They said
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു
sub'ḥānaka
سُبْحَٰنَكَ
"Glory be to You!
നീ മഹാപരിശുദ്ധന്, നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രകീര്ത്തനം
lā ʿil'ma
لَا عِلْمَ
No knowledge
അറിവേ ഇല്ല
lanā
لَنَآ
(is) for us
ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക്
illā mā
إِلَّا مَا
except what
യാതൊന്നല്ലാതെ
ʿallamtanā
عَلَّمْتَنَآۖ
You have taught us
നീ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു പഠിപ്പിച്ച
innaka anta
إِنَّكَ أَنتَ
Indeed You! You
നിശ്ചയമായും നീ തന്നെ
l-ʿalīmu
ٱلْعَلِيمُ
(are) the All-Knowing
സര്വ്വജ്ഞന്
l-ḥakīmu
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise
അഗാധജ്ഞന്
Qaaloo subhaanaka laa 'ilma lanaaa illaa maa 'allamtanaaa innaka antal'aleemul hakeem (al-Baq̈arah 2:32)
English Sahih:
They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise." (Al-Baqarah [2] : 32)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ''കുറ്റമറ്റവന് നീ മാത്രം. നീ പഠിപ്പിച്ചുതന്നതല്ലാതൊന്നും ഞങ്ങള്ക്കറിയില്ല. എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനും യുക്തിമാനും നീ മാത്രം.'' (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 32)
