وَجَحَدُوْا بِهَا وَاسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ اَنْفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَّعُلُوًّاۗ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِيْنَ ࣖ ( النمل: ١٤ )
wajaḥadū bihā
وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا
And they rejected them
അവര്‍ അവയെ നിഷേധിച്ചു, നിരാകരിച്ചു
wa-is'tayqanathā
وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ
though were convinced with them (signs)
അവയെ ഉറപ്പായി വിശ്വസിച്ചിരുന്നിട്ടും, ദൃഢമായിക്കണ്ടിരിക്കെ
anfusuhum
أَنفُسُهُمْ
themselves
അവരുടെ മനസ്സുകള്‍
ẓul'man
ظُلْمًا
(out of) injustice
അക്രമമായിട്ടു
waʿuluwwan
وَعُلُوًّاۚ
and haughtiness
പൊങ്ങച്ചമായും, ഔന്നത്യമായും
fa-unẓur
فَٱنظُرْ
So see
തന്‍നിമിത്തം നോക്കുക
kayfa kāna
كَيْفَ كَانَ
how was
എങ്ങിനെ ആയിത്തീര്‍ന്നു, എങ്ങിനെയുണ്ടായി
ʿāqibatu
عَٰقِبَةُ
(the) end
പര്യവസാനം, കലാശം
l-muf'sidīna
ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
(of) the corrupters
നാശകാരികളുടെ
Wa jahadoo bihaa wastaiqanat haaa anfusuhum zulmanw-wa 'uluwwaa; fanzur kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mufsideen (an-Naml 27:14)
English Sahih:
And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters. (An-Naml [27] : 14)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരുടെ മനസ്സുകള്‍ക്ക് ആ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ നന്നായി ബോധ്യമായിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ടും അക്രമവും അഹങ്കാരവും കാരണം അവര്‍അവയെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. നോക്കൂ; ആ നാശകാരികളുടെ ഒടുക്കം എവ്വിധമായിരുന്നുവെന്ന്. (അന്നംല് [27] : 14)
