مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ اَنْ يُّؤْتِيَهُ اللّٰهُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُوْلَ لِلنَّاسِ كُوْنُوْا عِبَادًا لِّيْ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلٰكِنْ كُوْنُوْا رَبَّانِيّٖنَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تُعَلِّمُوْنَ الْكِتٰبَ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَدْرُسُوْنَ ۙ ( آل عمران: ٧٩ )
Maa kaana libasharin ai yu'tiyahul laahul Kitaaba walhukma wan Nubuwwata summa yaqoola linnaasi koonoo 'ibaadal lee min doonil laahi wa laakin koonoo rabbaaniy yeena bimaa kuntum tu'allimoonal Kitaaba wa bimaa kuntum tadrusoon (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:79)
English Sahih:
It is not for a human [prophet] that Allah should give him the Scripture and authority and prophethood and then he would say to the people, "Be servants to me rather than Allah," but [instead, he would say], "Be pious scholars of the Lord because of what you have taught of the Scripture and because of what you have studied." (Ali 'Imran [3] : 79)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഒരാള്ക്ക് അല്ലാഹു വേദപുസ്തകവും യുക്തിജ്ഞാനവും പ്രവാചകത്വവും നല്കുക; എന്നിട്ട് അയാള് ജനങ്ങളോട് 'നിങ്ങള് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അടിമകളാകുന്നതിനുപകരം എന്റെ അടിമകളാവുക' എന്ന് പറയുക; ഇത് ഒരു മനുഷ്യനില്നിന്ന് ഒരിക്കലും സംഭവിക്കാവതല്ല. മറിച്ച് അയാള് പറയുക 'നിങ്ങള് വേദപുസ്തകം പഠിക്കുകയും പഠിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിലൂടെ കളങ്കമേശാത്ത ദൈവഭക്തരാവുക' എന്നായിരിക്കും. അല്ലാഹു ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് വേദവും മതവിജ്ഞാനവും പ്രവാചകത്വവും നല്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം ജനങ്ങളോട് നിങ്ങള് അല്ലാഹുവെ വിട്ട് എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായിരിക്കുവിന് എന്ന് പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുക എന്നത് ഉണ്ടാകാവുന്നതല്ല. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് വേദഗ്രന്ഥം പഠിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെയും, പഠിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെയും (അല്ലാഹുവിൻ്റെ) നിഷ്കളങ്ക ദാസന്മാരായിരിക്കണം (എന്നായിരിക്കും അദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നത്.)
