اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَمَاتُوْا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يُّقْبَلَ مِنْ اَحَدِهِمْ مِّلْءُ الْاَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَّلَوِ افْتَدٰى بِهٖۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ وَّمَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ نّٰصِرِيْنَ ࣖ ۔ ( آل عمران: ٩١ )
Innal lazeena kafaroo wa maatoo wa hum kuffaarun falany yuqbala min ahadihim mil'ul ardi zahabanw wa lawiftadaa bih; ulaaa 'ika lahum 'azaabun aleemunw wa maa lahum min naasireen (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:91)
English Sahih:
Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers – never would the [whole] capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would [seek to] ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. (Ali 'Imran [3] : 91)

സത്യനിഷേധികളായി ജീവിക്കുകയും സത്യനിഷേധികളായിത്തന്നെ മരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരില്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും ഭൂമി നിറയെ സ്വര്‍ണം പ്രായശ്ചിത്തമായി നല്‍കിയാലും അവരില്‍നിന്നത് സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതല്ല; അവര്‍ക്ക് നോവേറിയ ശിക്ഷയുണ്ട്. അവര്‍ക്ക് സഹായിയായി ആരുമുണ്ടാവില്ല. (ആലുഇംറാന്‍ [3] : 91)

അവിശ്വസിക്കുകയും അവിശ്വാസികളായിക്കൊണ്ട് മരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരില്‍പെട്ട ഒരാള്‍ ഭൂമി നിറയെ സ്വര്‍ണം പ്രായശ്ചിത്തമായി നല്‍കിയാല്‍ പോലും അത് സ്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതല്ല. അവര്‍ക്കാണ് വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷയുള്ളത്. അവര്‍ക്ക് സഹായികളായി ആരുമുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതുമല്ല.
