ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِى الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ اَيْدِى النَّاسِ لِيُذِيْقَهُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِيْ عَمِلُوْا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ ( الروم: ٤١ )
Zaharal fasaadu fil barri wal bahri bimaa kasabat aydinnaasi li yuzeeqahum ba'dal lazee 'amiloo la'allahum yarji'oon (ar-Rūm 30:41)
English Sahih:
Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e., Allah] may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]. (Ar-Rum [30] : 41)

മനുഷ്യകരങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനഫലമായി കരയിലും കടലിലും കുഴപ്പം പ്രകടമായിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര് ചെയ്തുകൂട്ടിയതില് ചിലതിന്റെയെങ്കിലും ഫലം ഇവിടെ വെച്ചുതന്നെ ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കാനാണത്. അവര് ഒരുവേള നന്മയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിയെങ്കിലോ? (അര്റൂം [30] : 41)
