وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَالْاِيْمَانَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِيْ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْبَعْثِۖ فَهٰذَا يَوْمُ الْبَعْثِ وَلٰكِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ( الروم: ٥٦ )
Wa qaalal lazeena ootul 'ilma wal eemaana laqad labistum fee kitaabil laahi ilaa yawmil ba'si fahaazaa yawmul ba'si wa laakinnakum kuntum laa ta'lamoon (ar-Rūm 30:56)
English Sahih:
But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know." (Ar-Rum [30] : 56)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
വിജ്ഞാനവും വിശ്വാസവും കൈവന്നവര് പറയും: ''അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ രേഖയനുസരിച്ചുള്ള ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പുനാള് വരെ നിങ്ങളവിടെ കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇപ്പോഴിതാ ആ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പു നാളെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പക്ഷേ, നിങ്ങള് അതേപ്പറ്റി അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.'' (അര്റൂം [30] : 56)

വിജ്ഞാനവും വിശ്വാസവും നല്കപ്പെട്ടവര് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നതാണ്: അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ രേഖയിലുള്ള പ്രകാരം ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിന്റെ നാളുവരെ നിങ്ങള് കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല് ഇതാ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിന്റെ നാള്. പക്ഷെ നിങ്ങള് (അതിനെപ്പറ്റി) മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരുന്നില്ല.
