وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَالْاِيْمَانَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِيْ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْبَعْثِۖ فَهٰذَا يَوْمُ الْبَعْثِ وَلٰكِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ( الروم: ٥٦ )
But will say
وَقَالَ
और कहेंगे
those who
ٱلَّذِينَ
वो लोग जो
were given
أُوتُوا۟
दिए गए
the knowledge
ٱلْعِلْمَ
इल्म
and the faith
وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ
और ईमान
"Verily
لَقَدْ
अलबत्ता तहक़ीक़
you remained
لَبِثْتُمْ
ठहरे रहे तुम
by
فِى
अल्लाह की किताब में
(the) Decree
كِتَٰبِ
अल्लाह की किताब में
(of) Allah
ٱللَّهِ
अल्लाह की किताब में
until
إِلَىٰ
दोबारा उठने के दिन तक
(the) Day
يَوْمِ
दोबारा उठने के दिन तक
(of) Resurrection
ٱلْبَعْثِۖ
दोबारा उठने के दिन तक
And this
فَهَٰذَا
तो ये है
(is the) Day
يَوْمُ
दिन
(of) the Resurrection
ٱلْبَعْثِ
दोबारा उठने का
but you
وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ
और लेकिन तुम
were
كُنتُمْ
थे तुम
not
لَا
ना तुम जानते
knowing
تَعْلَمُونَ
ना तुम जानते
Waqala allatheena ootoo al'ilma waaleemana laqad labithtum fee kitabi Allahi ila yawmi alba'thi fahatha yawmu alba'thi walakinnakum kuntum la ta'lamoona (ar-Rūm 30:56)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
किन्तु जिन लोगों को ज्ञान और ईमान प्रदान हुआ, वे कहते, 'अल्लाह के लेख में तो तुम जीवित होकर उठने के दिन ठहरे रहे हो। तो यही जीवित हो उठाने का दिन है। किन्तु तुम जानते न थे।'
English Sahih:
But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know." ([30] Ar-Rum : 56)
