وَلَوْ نَشَاۤءُ لَمَسَخْنٰهُمْ عَلٰى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا مُضِيًّا وَّلَا يَرْجِعُوْنَ ࣖ ( يس: ٦٧ )
walaw nashāu
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ
And if We willed
നാം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്
lamasakhnāhum
لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ
surely We (would have) transformed them
നാമവരെ രൂപം മാറ്റുമായിരുന്നു
ʿalā makānatihim
عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ
in their places
അവരുടെ സ്ഥാനത്തുവെച്ചുതന്നെ
famā is'taṭāʿū
فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟
then not they would have been able
എന്നിട്ടവര്ക്കു സാധിക്കുകയില്ല
muḍiyyan
مُضِيًّا
to proceed
പോകാന്, നടക്കുവാന്
walā yarjiʿūna
وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
and not return
അവര് മടങ്ങുകയുമില്ല
Wa law nashaaa'u lamasakhnaahum 'alaa makaanatihim famas-tataa'oo mudiyyanw-wa laa yarji'oon (Yāʾ Sīn 36:67)
English Sahih:
And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return. (Ya-Sin [36] : 67)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നാം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് നാമവരെ അവര് നില്ക്കുന്നേടത്തുവെച്ചുതന്നെ രൂപമാറ്റം വരുത്തുമായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോഴവര്ക്കു മുന്നോട്ടു പോവാനാവില്ല. പിന്നോട്ടു മടങ്ങാനും കഴിയില്ല. (യാസീന് [36] : 67)
