۞ وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاۤءَ فَزَيَّنُوْا لَهُمْ مَّا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِيْٓ اُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِۚ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا خٰسِرِيْنَ ࣖ ( فصلت: ٢٥ )
Wa qaiyadnaa lahum quranaaa'a fazaiyanoo lahum maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum wa haqqa 'alaihimul qawlu feee umamin qad khalat min qablihim minal jinni wal insi innahum kaanoo khaasireen (Fuṣṣilat 41:25)
English Sahih:
And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them [of sin], and the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers. (Fussilat [41] : 25)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നാം അവര്ക്ക് ചില കൂട്ടുകാരെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു. ആ കൂട്ടുകാര് അവരുടെ മുന്നിലുള്ളതും പിന്നിലുള്ളതും അവര്ക്ക് അലംകൃതമായി തോന്നിപ്പിച്ചു. അതോടെ അവര്ക്ക് ശിക്ഷ സ്ഥിരപ്പെട്ടു. അവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ ജിന്നുകളിലും മനുഷ്യരിലുമുള്ളവര്ക്ക് ബാധകമായ അതേ ശിക്ഷ. ഉറപ്പായും അവര് നഷ്ടം പറ്റിയവര് തന്നെ. (ഹാമീം അസ്സജദ [41] : 25)

അവര്ക്ക് നാം ചില കൂട്ടുകാരെ ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തി കൊടുത്തു. എന്നിട്ട് ആ കൂട്ടാളികള് അവര്ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിലുള്ളതും പിന്നിലുള്ളതും അലംകൃതമായി തോന്നിച്ചു. ജിന്നുകളില് നിന്നും മനുഷ്യരില് നിന്നും അവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയിട്ടുള്ള സമുദായങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ഇവരുടെ മേലും (ശിക്ഷയെപറ്റിയുള്ള) പ്രഖ്യാപനം സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുകയുണ്ടായി. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് നഷ്ടം പറ്റിയവരായിരുന്നു.
