وَمَنْ اَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ يَّدْعُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ لَّا يَسْتَجِيْبُ لَهٗٓ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَهُمْ عَنْ دُعَاۤىِٕهِمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ ( الأحقاف: ٥ )
waman aḍallu
وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ
And who (is) more astray
അധികം വഴിപിഴച്ചവരാരാണ്
mimman yadʿū
مِمَّن يَدْعُوا۟
than (he) who calls
വിളിക്കുന്ന (പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്ന)വരേക്കാള്
min dūni l-lahi
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ
besides besides Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിനു പുറമെ
man lā yastajību
مَن لَّا يَسْتَجِيبُ
who will not respond will not respond
ഉത്തരം നല്കാത്തവരെ
lahu
لَهُۥٓ
to him
തനിക്കു
ilā yawmi l-qiyāmati
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
until (the) Day (of) Resurrection
ഖിയാമത്തുനാള്വരേക്കു
wahum
وَهُمْ
and they
അവരോ
ʿan duʿāihim
عَن دُعَآئِهِمْ
of their calls
ഇവരുടെ വിളി (പ്രാര്ത്ഥന)യെപ്പറ്റി
ghāfilūna
غَٰفِلُونَ
(are) unaware
അശ്രദ്ധരാണ്
Wa man adallu mimmany yad'oo min doonil laahi mallaa yastajeebu lahooo ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati wa hum'an du'aaa'ihim ghaafiloon (al-ʾAḥq̈āf 46:5)
English Sahih:
And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allah those who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection [i.e., never], and they, of their invocation, are unaware. (Al-Ahqaf [46] : 5)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവെ വിട്ട്, അന്ത്യനാള് വരെ കാത്തിരുന്നാലും ഉത്തരമേകാത്തവയോട് പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുന്നവനെക്കാള് വഴിതെറ്റിയവനാരുണ്ട്? അവരോ, ഇവരുടെ പ്രാര്ഥനയെപ്പറ്റി തീര്ത്തും അശ്രദ്ധരാണ്. (അല്അഹ്ഖാഫ് [46] : 5)
