اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ تَابُوْا مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَقْدِرُوْا عَلَيْهِمْۚ فَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ࣖ ( المائدة: ٣٤ )
illā alladhīna
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ
Except those who
യാതൊരുവരൊഴികെ
tābū
تَابُوا۟
repent
പശ്ചാത്തപിച്ച, അവര്‍ ഖേദിച്ചു മടങ്ങി
min qabli
مِن قَبْلِ
from before
മുമ്പായി
an taqdirū
أَن تَقْدِرُوا۟
that you overpower
നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു കഴിയുന്നതിനു
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْۖ
[over] them
അവരുടെ മേല്‍, അവരോടു
fa-iʿ'lamū
فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟
then know
എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അറിയുവിന്‍, അറിയുക
anna l-laha
أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ
that Allah
അല്ലാഹു (ആകുന്നു) എന്നു
ghafūrun
غَفُورٌ
(is) Oft-Forgiving
വളരെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവന്‍
raḥīmun
رَّحِيمٌ
Most Merciful
കരുണാനിധി
Illal lazeena taaboo min qabli an taqdiroo 'alaihim fa'lamooo annnal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem (al-Māʾidah 5:34)
English Sahih:
Except for those who return [repenting] before you overcome [i.e., apprehend] them. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 34)

എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അവരെ പിടികൂടി നടപടിയെടുക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങുംമുമ്പെ അവര്‍ പശ്ചാത്തപിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് ഈ ശിക്ഷ ബാധകമല്ല. നിങ്ങളറിയുക: അല്ലാഹു ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും പരമദയാലുവുമാണ്. (അല്‍മാഇദ [5] : 34)
