وَيَقُوْلُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَهٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ الَّذِيْنَ اَقْسَمُوْا بِاللّٰهِ جَهْدَ اَيْمَانِهِمْۙ اِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْۗ حَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُهُمْ فَاَصْبَحُوْا خٰسِرِيْنَ ( المائدة: ٥٣ )
Wa yaqoolul lazeena aamanooo ahaaa'ulaaa'il lazeena aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim innahum lama'akum; habitat a'maaluhum fa asbahoo khaasireen (al-Māʾidah 5:53)
English Sahih:
And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?" Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 53)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അന്നേരം സത്യവിശ്വാസികള് ചോദിക്കും: 'ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം തന്നെയാണെ'ന്ന് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് ആണയിട്ടുപറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന അക്കൂട്ടര് തന്നെയാണോ ഇവര്? അവരുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള് പാഴായിരിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ അവര് പരാജിതരാവുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. (അല്മാഇദ [5] : 53)

(അന്ന്) സത്യവിശ്വാസികള് പറയും; 'ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെത്തന്നെയാണ്' എന്ന് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് ബലമായി സത്യം ചെയ്ത് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നവര് ഇക്കൂട്ടര് തന്നെയാണോ? എന്ന്. അവരുടെ കര്മ്മങ്ങള് നിഷ്ഫലമാകുകയും, അങ്ങനെ അവര് നഷ്ടക്കാരായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
