وَمَا لَهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ عِلْمٍۗ اِنْ يَّتَّبِعُوْنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَاِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِيْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْـًٔاۚ ( النجم: ٢٨ )
wamā lahum
وَمَا لَهُم
And not for them
അവര്ക്കു ഇല്ലതാനും
bihi
بِهِۦ
about it
അതിനെപ്പറ്റി
min ʿil'min
مِنْ عِلْمٍۖ
any knowledge
ഒരറിവും
in yattabiʿūna
إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ
Not they follow
അവര് പിന്പറ്റുന്നില്ല
illā l-ẓana
إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ
but assumption
ഊഹത്തെയല്ലാതെ
wa-inna l-ẓana
وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ
And indeed the assumption
നിശ്ചയമായും ഊഹമാകട്ടെ
lā yugh'nī
لَا يُغْنِى
(does) not avail
പര്യാപ്തമാക്കുകയില്ല (ഉപകരിക്കയില്ല)
mina l-ḥaqi
مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ
against the truth
യഥാര്ത്ഥത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു, കാര്യത്തിനു
shayan
شَيْـًٔا
anything
ഒന്നും, യാതൊന്നും
Wa maa lahum bihee min 'ilmin iny yattabi'oona illaz zanna wa innaz zanna laa yughnee minal haqqi shai'aa (an-Najm 53:28)
English Sahih:
And they have thereof no knowledge. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. (An-Najm [53] : 28)

അവര്ക്ക് അതേക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരറിവുമില്ല. അവര് ഊഹത്തെ മാത്രം പിന്പറ്റുകയാണ്. ഊഹമോ, സത്യത്തിന് ഒരു പ്രയോജനവും ചെയ്യുകയില്ല. (അന്നജ്മ് [53] : 28)
