يُنَادُوْنَهُمْ اَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَّعَكُمْۗ قَالُوْا بَلٰى وَلٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَارْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْاَمَانِيُّ حَتّٰى جَاۤءَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ وَغَرَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُوْرُ ( الحديد: ١٤ )
Yunaadoonahum alam nakum ma'akum qaaloo balaa wa laakinnakum fatantum anfusakum wa tarabbastum wartabtum wa gharratkumul amaaniyyu hatta jaaa'a amrul laahi wa gharrakum billaahil gharoor (al-Ḥadīd 57:14)
English Sahih:
They [i.e., the hypocrites] will call to them [i.e., the believers], "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver [i.e., Satan] deceived you concerning Allah. (Al-Hadid [57] : 14)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവര് വിശ്വാസികളെ വിളിച്ച് ചോദിക്കും: ''ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെയായിരുന്നില്ലേ?'' സത്യവിശ്വാസികള് പറയും: ''അതെ. പക്ഷേ, നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ നാശത്തിലാഴ്ത്തി. അവസരവാദനയം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. സന്ദേഹികളാവുകയും ചെയ്തു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ തീരുമാനം വന്നെത്തുംവരെ വ്യാമോഹം നിങ്ങളെ വഞ്ചിതരാക്കി. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് കൊടുംവഞ്ചകന് നിങ്ങളെ ചതിച്ചു. (അല്ഹദീദ് [57] : 14)

അവരെ (സത്യവിശ്വാസികളെ) വിളിച്ച് അവര് (കപടന്മാര്) പറയും: ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടൊപ്പമായിരുന്നില്ലേ? അവര് (സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്) പറയും: അതെ; പക്ഷെ, നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളെ തന്നെ കുഴപ്പത്തിലാക്കുകയും (മറ്റുള്ളവര്ക്ക് നാശം വരുന്നത്) നിങ്ങൾ പാര്ത്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയും (മതത്തില്) സംശയിക്കുകയും, അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞ വന്നെത്തുന്നത് വരെ വ്യാമോഹങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളെ വഞ്ചിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് പരമവഞ്ചകനായ പിശാച് നിങ്ങളെ വഞ്ചിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു.
