قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِلِقَاۤءِ اللّٰهِ ۗحَتّٰٓى اِذَا جَاۤءَتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُوْا يٰحَسْرَتَنَا عَلٰى مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيْهَاۙ وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُوْنَ اَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلٰى ظُهُوْرِهِمْۗ اَلَا سَاۤءَ مَا يَزِرُوْنَ ( الأنعام: ٣١ )
Qad khasiral lazeena kazzaboo biliqaaa'il laahi hattaaa izaa jaaa'at humus Saa'atu baghtan qaaloo yaa hasratanaa 'alaa maa farratnaa feehaa wa hum yahmiloona awzaarahum 'alaa zuhoorihim; alaa saaa'a ma yaziroon (al-ʾAnʿām 6:31)
English Sahih:
Those will have lost who deny the meeting with Allah, until when the Hour [of resurrection] comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Oh, [how great is] our regret over what we neglected concerning it [i.e., the Hour]," while they bear their burdens [i.e., sins] on their backs. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear. (Al-An'am [6] : 31)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവുമായി കണ്ടുമുട്ടുമെന്ന കാര്യം കള്ളമാക്കിത്തള്ളിയവര് തീര്ച്ചയായും തുലഞ്ഞതുതന്നെ. അങ്ങനെ പെട്ടെന്ന് അവര്ക്ക് ആ സമയം വന്നെത്തുമ്പോള് അവര് വിലപിക്കും: ''കഷ്ടം! ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില് എന്തൊരു വീഴ്ചയാണ് നാം കാണിച്ചത്.'' അപ്പോഴവര് തങ്ങളുടെ പാപഭാരം സ്വന്തം മുതുകുകളില് വഹിക്കുന്നവരായിരിക്കും. അവര് പേറുന്ന ഭാരം എത്ര ചീത്ത. (അല്അന്ആം [6] : 31)

അല്ലാഹുവുമായുള്ള കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയെ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിയവര് തീര്ച്ചയായും നഷ്ടത്തില് പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ പെട്ടെന്ന് ആ അന്ത്യസമയം വന്നെത്തുമ്പോള് അവര് പറയും: ഞങ്ങള് ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച കാര്യത്തില് വീഴ്ച വരുത്തിയതിനാല് ഹോ! ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് കഷ്ടം! അവര് അവരുടെ പാപഭാരങ്ങള് അവരുടെ മുതുകുകളില് വഹിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരിക്കും. അവര് പേറുന്ന ഭാരം എത്ര ചീത്ത!
