فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْ فِى الْيَمِّ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَكَانُوْا عَنْهَا غٰفِلِيْنَ ( الأعراف: ١٣٦ )
fa-intaqamnā min'hum
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ
So We took retribution from them
അപ്പോള്‍ അവരോടു നാം പ്രതികാര (ശിക്ഷാ) നടപടിയെടുത്തു
fa-aghraqnāhum
فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ
and We drowned them
അങ്ങനെ നാം അവരെ മുക്കി
fī l-yami
فِى ٱلْيَمِّ
in the sea
സമുദ്രത്തില്‍
bi-annahum
بِأَنَّهُمْ
because they
അവരാണെന്നതുകൊണ്ടു, അവര്‍ (ആയ) കാരണത്താല്‍
kadhabū
كَذَّبُوا۟
denied
വ്യാജമാക്കി (എന്ന)
biāyātinā
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
Our Signs
നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ
wakānū
وَكَانُوا۟
and they were
അവര്‍ ആയിരിക്കുക (ആയിത്തീരുക) യും ചെയ്തു (വെന്ന)
ʿanhā
عَنْهَا
to them
അവയെപ്പറ്റി
ghāfilīna
غَٰفِلِينَ
heedless
അശ്രദ്ധര്‍.
Fantaqamnaa minhum fa aghraqnaahum kazzaboo bi Aayaatinaa wa kaanoo 'anhaa ghaafileen (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:136)
English Sahih:
So We took retribution from them, and We drowned them in the sea because they denied Our signs and were heedless of them. (Al-A'raf [7] : 136)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അതിനാല്‍ നാം അവരോട് പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്തു. നാം അവരെ കടലില്‍ മുക്കിക്കൊന്നു. അവര്‍ നമ്മുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ തള്ളിക്കളയുകയും അവയെ അപ്പാടെ അവഗണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതിനാലാണിത്. (അല്‍അഅ്റാഫ് [7] : 136)
