فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْ فِى الْيَمِّ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَكَانُوْا عَنْهَا غٰفِلِيْنَ ( الأعراف: ١٣٦ )
So We took retribution
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا
पस इन्तिक़ाम लिया हमने
from them
مِنْهُمْ
उनसे
and We drowned them
فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ
फ़िर ग़र्क़ कर दिया हमने उन्हें
in
فِى
समुन्दर में
the sea
ٱلْيَمِّ
समुन्दर में
because they
بِأَنَّهُمْ
बवजह उसके कि उन्होंने
denied
كَذَّبُوا۟
झुठला दिया था
Our Signs
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
हमारी आयात को
and they were
وَكَانُوا۟
और थे वो
to them
عَنْهَا
उनसे
heedless
غَٰفِلِينَ
ग़ाफ़िल
Faintaqamna minhum faaghraqnahum fee alyammi biannahum kaththaboo biayatina wakanoo 'anha ghafileena (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:136)

फिर हमने उनसे बदला लिया और उन्हें गहरे पानी में डूबो दिया, क्योंकि उन्होंने हमारी निशानियों को ग़लत समझा और उनसे ग़ाफिल हो गए
English Sahih:
So We took retribution from them, and We drowned them in the sea because they denied Our signs and were heedless of them. ([7] Al-A'raf : 136)
