فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ قَوْلًا غَيْرَ الَّذِيْ قِيْلَ لَهُمْ فَاَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَظْلِمُوْنَ ࣖ ( الأعراف: ١٦٢ )

فَبَدَّلَ
But changed
എന്നിട്ടു പകരമാക്കി, മാറ്റി മറിച്ചു
alladhīna ẓalamū
ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟
those who wronged
അക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവര്‍
min'hum
مِنْهُمْ
among them
അവരില്‍നിന്നു
qawlan
قَوْلًا
word
ഒരുവാക്കു
ghayra
غَيْرَ
other than
ഒഴികെ
alladhī qīla lahum
ٱلَّذِى قِيلَ لَهُمْ
(that) which was said to them
അവരോടു പറയപ്പെട്ട
fa-arsalnā
فَأَرْسَلْنَا
So We sent
അപ്പോള്‍ നാം അയച്ചു
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
upon them
അവരില്‍
rij'zan
رِجْزًا
torment
ഒരു (കഠിന) ശിക്ഷ
mina l-samāi
مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ
from the sky
ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു
bimā kānū
بِمَا كَانُوا۟
because they were
അവര്‍ ആയിരുന്നതു നിമിത്തം (കൊണ്ടു)
yaẓlimūna
يَظْلِمُونَ
doing wrong
അവര്‍ അക്രമം ചെയ്യും.
Fabaddalal lazeena zalamoo minhum qawlan ghairal lazee qeela lahum fa arsalnaa 'alaihim rijzam minas samaaa'i bimaa kaanoo yazlimoon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:162)
English Sahih:
But those who wronged among them changed [the words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them. So We sent upon them a punishment from the sky for the wrong that they were doing. (Al-A'raf [7] : 162)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
എന്നാല്‍ അവരോട് പറഞ്ഞതിനെ അവരിലെ അക്രമികള്‍ മാറ്റിമറിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ അക്രമം കാണിച്ചു. തദ്ഫലമായി നാം അവരുടെമേല്‍ ഉപരിലോകത്തുനിന്ന് ശിക്ഷ അയച്ചു. (അല്‍അഅ്റാഫ് [7] : 162)
