وَاِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ اِلَى الصَّلٰوةِ اتَّخَذُوْهَا هُزُوًا وَّلَعِبًا ۗذٰلِكَ بِاَ نَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُوْنَ ( المائدة: ٥٨ )
wa-idhā
وَإِذَا
And when

nādaytum
نَادَيْتُمْ
you make a call
ju thërrisni
ilā
إِلَى
for

l-ṣalati
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
the prayer
namaz
ittakhadhūhā
ٱتَّخَذُوهَا
they take it
ata e marrin atë
huzuwan
هُزُوًا
(in) ridicule
(si) tallje
walaʿiban
وَلَعِبًاۚ
and fun
dhe lojë.

ذَٰلِكَ
That
Ajo
bi-annahum
بِأَنَّهُمْ
(is) because they
(është) sepse ata
qawmun
قَوْمٌ
(are) a people
(janë) një popull
lā
لَّا
(who do) not
(që) nuk
yaʿqilūna
يَعْقِلُونَ
understand
rrokin me mend.
Wa izaa naadaitum ilas Salaatit takhazoohaa huzu wan'w wa la'ibaa; zaalika biannnahum qawmul laa ya'qiloon (al-Māʾidah 5:58)
English Sahih:
And when you call to prayer, they take it in ridicule and amusement. That is because they are a people who do not use reason. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 58)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Edhe thirrjen (ezanin) tuaj për namaz ata e marrin për tallje e lojë. Me këtë vërtetojnë se janë popull që nuk kupton (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 58)
