اِنَّمَا يَنْهٰىكُمُ اللّٰهُ عَنِ الَّذِيْنَ قَاتَلُوْكُمْ فِى الدِّيْنِ وَاَخْرَجُوْكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِكُمْ وَظَاهَرُوْا عَلٰٓى اِخْرَاجِكُمْ اَنْ تَوَلَّوْهُمْۚ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّهُمْ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ( الممتحنة: ٩ )
Innamaa yanhaakumul laahu 'anil lazeena qaatalookum fid deeni wa akhrajookum min diyaarikum wa zaaharoo 'alaa ikhraajikum an tawallawhum; wa many yatawallahum faulaaa'ika humuz zaalimoon (al-Mumtaḥanah 60:9)
English Sahih:
Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers. (Al-Mumtahanah [60] : 9)
Sherif Ahmeti:
All-llahu ju ndalon t’u afroheni vetëm atyre që ju luftuan për shkak të fesë, që ju nxorën prej shtëpive tuaja dhe që ndihmuan dëbimin tuaj; ju ndalon t miqësoheni me ta. Kush miqësohet me ta, të tillët janë dëmtues të vetvetës (Al-Mumtahanah [60] : 9)
