قَالُوْٓا اُوْذِيْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَأْتِيَنَا وَمِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جِئْتَنَا ۗقَالَ عَسٰى رَبُّكُمْ اَنْ يُّهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ࣖ ( الأعراف: ١٢٩ )
Qaaloo oozeenaa min qabli an taatiyanaa wa mim ba'di maa ji'tanaa; qaala 'asaa Rabbukum ai yuhlika 'aduwwakum wa yastakhli fakum fil ardi fayanzura kaifa ta'maloon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:129)
English Sahih:
They said, "We have been harmed before you came to us and after you have come to us." He said, "Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and grant you succession in the land and see how you will do." (Al-A'raf [7] : 129)
Sherif Ahmeti:
ata (populli i musait) thanë: “Ne ishim të shtypur para se të na vije ti, e edhe pasi na erdhe”. Ai (Musai) tha: “Është shpresë se All-llahu do ta shkatërrojë armikun tuaj (faraonin), e ju do t’ju bëjë ta zëvendësoni në këtë vend, e do t’ju shikojë se si veproni” (Al-A'raf [7] : 129)
