وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوْعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْاَمْوَالِ وَالْاَنْفُسِ وَالثَّمَرٰتِۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ ( البقرة: ١٥٥ )
And surely We will test you
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم
நிச்சயமாக சோதிப்போம்/உங்களை
with something
بِشَىْءٍ
கொஞ்சத்தைக் கொண்டு
of [the] fear
مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ
பயத்திலிருந்து
and [the] hunger
وَٱلْجُوعِ
இன்னும் பசி
and loss
وَنَقْصٍ
இன்னும் நஷ்டம்
of [the] wealth
مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ
செல்வங்களிலிருந்து
and [the] lives
وَٱلْأَنفُسِ
இன்னும் உயிர்கள்
and [the] fruits
وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۗ
இன்னும் விளைச்சல்கள்
but give good news
وَبَشِّرِ
இன்னும் நற்செய்தி கூறுவீராக
(to) the patient ones
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
பொறுமையாளர்களுக்கு
Wa lanablu wannakum bishai'im minal khawfi waljoo'i wa naqsim minal amwaali wal anfusi was samaraat; wa bashshiris saabireen (al-Baq̈arah 2:155)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) பயம், பசி மேலும் பொருள்கள், உயிர்கள், கனிவர்க்கங்கள் ஆகியவைகளைக் கொண்டு நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களைச் சோதிப்போம். (நபியே! இச்சோதனைகளால் ஏற்படும் கஷ்டங்களைச்) சகித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் நற்செய்தி கூறுங்கள்.
English Sahih:
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, ([2] Al-Baqarah : 155)
