لَوْ كَانَ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ اٰلِهَةً مَّا وَرَدُوْهَاۗ وَكُلٌّ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ( الأنبياء: ٩٩ )
If were these
لَوْ كَانَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
இருந்திருந்தால் இவை
gods
ءَالِهَةً
கடவுள்களாக
not they (would) have come to it
مَّا وَرَدُوهَاۖ
அதில் நுழைந்திருக்க மாட்டார்கள்
And all
وَكُلٌّ
எல்லோரும்
therein
فِيهَا
அதில்
will abide forever
خَٰلِدُونَ
நிரந்தரமாக தங்கக்கூடியவர்கள்
Law kaana haaa'ulaaa'i aalihatam maa waradoohaa wa kullun feehaa khaalidoon (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:99)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(அவர்கள் வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த) இவை (உண்மையான) தெய்வங்களாக இருந்தால் நரகத்திற்கு வந்தே இருக்காது. எனினும், அவர்கள் அனைவரும் (நரகத்தில் தள்ளப்பட்டு) என்றென்றும் அதில் தங்கிவிடுவார்கள்.
English Sahih:
Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. ([21] Al-Anbya : 99)
