وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَبْخَلُوْنَ بِمَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۗ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ ۗ سَيُطَوَّقُوْنَ مَا بَخِلُوْا بِهٖ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗ وَلِلّٰهِ مِيْرَاثُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ࣖ ( آل عمران: ١٨٠ )
Wa laa yahsabannal lazeena yabkhaloon bimaa aataahumul lahu min fadilhee huwa khairal lahum bal huwa sharrul lahum sayutaw waqoona maa bakhiloo bihee Yawmal Qiyaamah; wa lillaahi meeraasus samaawaati wal ard; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Khabeer (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:180)

எவர்கள், அல்லாஹ் தன் அருளால் தங்களுக்கு வழங்கிய பொருள்களில் கஞ்சத்தனம் செய்கின்றார்களோ அவர்கள் அது தங்களுக்கு நல்லதென்று எண்ணிட வேண்டாம். அது அவர் களுக்குத் தீங்காகவே இருக்கும். கஞ்சத்தனத்தால் சேர்த்த பொருள் மறுமையில் அவர்கள் கழுத்தில் அரிகண்டமாக (இரும்பு வளையமாக) மாட்டப்படும். வானங்கள் பூமியின் வாரிசுரிமை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது. அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை எல்லாம் நன்கறிந்தவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.
English Sahih:
And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, of what you do, is [fully] Aware. ([3] Ali 'Imran : 180)

அல்லாஹ் தன் அருளினால் தங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கும் பொருட்களில் யார் உலோபத்தனம் செய்கிறார்களோ அது தமக்கு நல்லது என்று (அவர்கள்) நிச்சயமாக எண்ண வேண்டாம் - அவ்வாறன்று அது அவர்களுக்குத் தீங்குதான்; அவர்கள் உலோபத்தனத்தால் சேர்த்து வைத்த (பொருட்கள்) எல்லாம் மறுமையில் அவர்கள் கழுத்தில் அரிகண்டமாக போடப்படும்; வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றில் (இருக்கும் அனைத்துக்கும்) அனந்தர பாத்தியதை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியதாகும். அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றையெல்லாம் அறிகிறான்.
