وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَّثَلًا اَصْحٰبَ الْقَرْيَةِۘ اِذْ جَاۤءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُوْنَۚ ( يس: ١٣ )
And set forth
وَٱضْرِبْ
எடுத்துச் சொல்வீராக!
to them
لَهُم
அவர்களுக்கு
an example
مَّثَلًا
உதாரணமாக
(of the) companions (of) the city
أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ
அந்த ஊர் வாசிகளை
when came to it
إِذْ جَآءَهَا
அவர்களிடம் வந்த சமயத்தை நினைவு கூர்வீராக!
the Messengers
ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
தூதர்கள்
Wadrib lahum masalan Ashaabal Qaryatih; iz jaaa'ahal mursaloon (Yāʾ Sīn 36:13)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(நபியே!) நம்முடைய தூதர்கள் சென்ற, ஓர் ஊர்வாசிகளை அவர்களுக்கு உதாரணமாகக் கூறுங்கள்.
English Sahih:
And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it – ([36] Ya-Sin : 13)
