اَفَمَنْ يَّتَّقِيْ بِوَجْهِهٖ سُوْۤءَ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗوَقِيْلَ لِلظّٰلِمِيْنَ ذُوْقُوْا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْسِبُوْنَ ( الزمر: ٢٤ )
Then (is) he who
أَفَمَن
?/எவர்
will shield
يَتَّقِى
தவிர்த்துக் கொள்கிறான்
with his face
بِوَجْهِهِۦ
தனது முகத்தால்
(the) worst
سُوٓءَ
கெட்ட
punishment
ٱلْعَذَابِ
வேதனையை
(on the) Day (of) the Resurrection?
يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِۚ
மறுமை நாளில்
And it will be said
وَقِيلَ
கூறப்படும்
to the wrongdoers
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
அநியாயக்காரர்களுக்கு
"Taste
ذُوقُوا۟
சுவையுங்கள்!
what you used (to) earn"
مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
நீங்கள் செய்து வந்ததை
Afamai yattaqee biwaj hihee sooo'al 'azaabi Yawmal Qiyaamah; wa qeela lizzaali meena zooqoo maa kuntum taksiboon (az-Zumar 39:24)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
எவன், மறுமையின் கொடிய வேதனையைத் தன் முகத்தைக் கொண்டேனும் தடுத்துக்கொள்ளப் பிரயாசைப்படுவானோ, அவன் (சுவனவாசிக்கு சமமாவானா?) அநியாயக்காரர்களை நோக்கி நீங்கள் தேடிக் கொண்ட (தீய) செயலைச் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள் என்றுதான் கூறப்படும்.
English Sahih:
Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn." ([39] Az-Zumar : 24)
